DivE Graduate Student Pre-Conference Seminar
Tuesday, April 19th, 2022, 8:30am-11:00am PDT (11:30am-2:00pm EDT)
Division E invites graduate student members to participate in the Graduate Student Pre-Conference; this is a virtual workshop session
This year’s seminar includes a session with University of Maryland’s Interim Dean, Dr. Laura Stapleton. Dr. Stapleton will share her insights regarding the state of higher education. We also have sessions on preparing for the job market with faculty speakers (counseling psychology and human development) and non-faculty/industry speakers (such as, user experience). Lastly, we have a session on the peer review process in publishing and grants.

2022 Virtual AERA Division E Business meeting: A Celebration of Success

Please join us for the Division E Business Meeting’s virtual celebration of success! We will share highlights for the upcoming conference, announce award winners for the Dissertation Award and Distinguished Researcher Award, as well as have our finalists present their 3 minute pitches LIVE for the SEED Grant – the winner to be determined by our live audience!

Division E Graduate Student Fireside Chat: Networking in a Virtual World
Thursday, April 21st, 4:15pm-5:45pm PDT (7:15pm-8:45pm EDT)
Division E invites graduate students and early career researchers to attend the Division E Fireside Chat via the AERA online conference platform.
This session will be filled with information and wisdom about navigating the graduate and post-graduate years - including advice on grant writing, navigating the job market, and creating meaningful professional relationships and collaborations during this virtual era.
